Slumdog Millionaire (2008)
Slumdog Millionaire (2008)
Director: Danny Boyle and Loveleen Tandan
Starring: Dev Patel, Freida Pinto
This story is about a guy who is a contestant on the Indian version of “Who Wants To Be A Millionaire”. He comes from extreme poverty and little education, therefore he is accused of cheating on the show. He knows the answers because all of the questions asked on the show pertain to things that has happened in his life. This movie will make you consider the lives of others and how hard it is to live in impoverished countries. This isn’t a movie you can watch over and over, but definitely a must see!

The Strangers (2008)
The Strangers (2008)
Director: Bryan Bertino
Starring: Liv Tyler, Scott Speedman
This is your typical thriller about people randomly breaking into a house and killing people. This movie was creepy because it is based from true events. However, it will make you want to scream and throw things at the screen because the people getting killed are dumb butts. Everytime they have a chance to use a cell phone, they don’t call 911 or for that fact, anyone! The strangers breaking in have no weapons whatsoever and the people getting killed have a freakin’ gun. What kind of crap is that, seriously!? This movie is a waste of time unless you are bored out of your mind.

Extreme Movie (2008)
Extreme Movie (2008)
Director: Adam Jay Epstein and Andrew Jacobson
Starring: Frankie Muniz, Michael Cera (1 of my fav’s), Andy Milonakis
The title really does describe this movie. It is about a bunch of horny teenage boys trying to lose their virginity, but it takes all of them to the extreme. It is so stupid, it’s hilarious. If you like movies such as “Not Another Teen Movie” or “Scary Movie”, this movie is for you.
